For producers

What happens to your episodes

In short, what every podcast player does, plus one extra bit of processing on the listener's phone.

What actually happens

  • The app reads your public RSS feed, like any other player.
  • The listener downloads the file straight from your server, and the download is counted on your side.
  • We don't keep a copy, and there's no proxy, CDN of ours or storage of any kind in between.
  • Anything your server inserts dynamically reaches the listener exactly as your server sent it.

What the processing does

It evens out the volume between speakers, on the device, while someone listens. Your file doesn't change, and none of it is stored. In practice it's like a listener turning the volume knob themselves, except the app does it for them.

If you'd rather not

Send the show's name and feed address, and it will be removed from the app. We won't ask why and we won't set conditions.
